The game includes multiple levels, each with its own unique challenges and obstacles. If the balls reach the central point, the player loses the level. If the player is able to destroy all of the balls in the chain before they reach the central point, they win the level. The player can do this by using the frog to shoot the balls at the chain in such a way that the balls form a group of three or more of the same color. The player's goal is to prevent the balls from reaching the central point by matching three or more balls of the same color and destroying them. The balls travel along the path towards a group of differently colored balls, called a chain, that is moving towards a central point.
In Zuma Marble, players control a frog that sits at the center of a circular path and shoots colored balls from its mouth.
